Spring Wildflowers holds a very special place in my story. This was only the sixth acrylic painting I ever created, made with no expectations, no audience, and no intention beyond joy. At the time, I wasn’t sharing my work publicly, I didn’t have an art business, and I wasn’t thinking about what came next. I was simply following a feeling—trying to make something that made me happy.

As I painted, something quietly shifted. For the first time, I felt like the work truly expressed who I was and who I am. In this piece, I found my style, my color palette, and my voice. It was the moment everything began to feel aligned. From this painting forward, everything bloomed.
