Leather & Lace was created from a desire to honor softness and strength without asking either to dim.

I wanted this piece to feel feminine, but grounded.

The inspiration came from the song Leather and Lace, something I grew up listening to, woven into memories of my parents.

This painting is about coexistence. About allowing softness to live beside strength. About understanding that femininity and masculinity are not opposites, but partners.
