"Color is the emotional signature of a space."

Hi, I'm Leah.

I'm a dopamine artist creating bold, emotionally layered artwork that celebrates life through color.

After years of trauma, health struggles, misdiagnosis, and being heavily medicated, I lost my will to live, my ability to see color, and nearly my life.

Then something changed.

After a health crisis left me unable to keep my medications down, the world began to brighten again. Within weeks, my thoughts felt clear. Color returned.

From that moment on, I knew I couldn't give up the color I had fought so hard to find again.

Art became my way forward.

Through painting, I found my voice.

"My Mind's Eye"

This was my first large-scale painting.

It holds everything that felt trapped inside while I was locked in the shell of myself.

The color. The wonder. The imagination. The joy.

It was the first time I could see what had been waiting beneath the surface all along.

The Dopamine Layering Method

Was born from my return to color—so I always begin with it. Every original starts with a vivid underpainting of bright yellow, coral, and orange, like lighting a fire beneath the surface. These tones aren't always visible in the final piece, but they infuse the work with warmth, energy, and emotional memory. From there, I layer expressive brushstrokes, moody hues, and intuitive marks until the painting feels alive. It’s not just technique—it’s a ritual. A way to capture joy, movement, and all the feelings we usually keep tucked away. This is art meant to be felt, not just seen.
